Dr Susan Dann is Associate Professor (Marketing) at the
Brisbane Graduate School of Business, Queensland University of Technology.
As an academic she is widely published in both journals and books
in Australia and internationally. Susan's research interests lie
in the application of marketing to emerging and non commercial activities,
including sport. In addition to her academic career, Susan is closely
involved with practice of marketing in the business community. She
is currently the Queensland President and National Deputy President
of the Australian Marketing Institute, the peak professional body
for marketing practitioners in Australia. Susan also contributes
to the profession through her membership of boards and advisory
bodies including being a member of the AFL Queensland Commission.
Dr Stephen Dann is Senior Research and Marketing Consultant
with the sponsorship rating agency, Sparten. After a career in academia
where he was employed as a lecturer in marketing at Griffith University
Stephen has branched out into a full time research and writing career.
His areas of specialisation are in consumer behaviour, communications
and internet marketing strategy. Stephen is co-author of the new
introductory marketing text, Introduction to Marketing.
