Errata
If you have purchased a first print run of this title you
may notice some minor difference between your text and the second printing.
Here is a list of the changes that have been made:
Page 224, Paragraph
3, Line 3
Change 'currently zero to 3 per cent' to 'currently 1 to 3 per cent'.
Page 300, Fourth
paragraph, last two sentences. Change tense to:
'In New Zealand, the policy targets agreement of the Reserve Bank
before September 2002 required the Bank to aim for inflation between
0 and 3 per cent. This reinforced expectations of inflation being about
1.5 per cent per annum.'
Page 301, last three
lines. Again change the tense along the following
lines (you may need to adjust this to keep the paragraph length
steady):
'Prior to September 2002, the Reserve Bank's policy targets
agreement commited the Bank to maintain inflation between 0 and 3
per cent. This meant that New Zealanders could be confident that
inflation would be around 1.5 per cent per annum, ...'

bullet point in the review. Change the last sentence
to:
